In the pamphlet Walker voiced his opinion that every slaves should be freed and that if they had to use violence to meet these ends then it should be done. Walker used any route possible to get his ! pamphlet to the slaves and free backs in the south. Some of the ingenious shipway was to tailor the pamphlets into the clothing he sold to mariners that bought in his store and have them deliver the pamphlet when in southern ports.
